Last weekend we enjoyed a fun filled day with friends. In the morning our good friends Levi and Jennie came over for breakfast. Levi is the one who performed our wedding ceremony and has been a fun and steadfast friend of Brandon's since Bible college.
They now live in Montana where they started a church, Freshlife, and were visiting Dana Point for their five year wedding anniversary. They left their two lovely girls at home for a nice get-away. Levi taught at Greg Laurie's church, Harvest, on Sunday morning and Brandon and I were happy to go and hear Levi teach.
It is always a good time with the Luskos!
In the afternoon we met the Johnson's Part II at Balboa Beach. It was a beautiful day at the beach, despite the crowd; and the girls loved the water. It was so cold that Bailey was shaking and turning blue but she did not want to come out of the water. Brandon and Eric were counting how many times they could pass the soccer ball back and forth using their heads only.
We then all came back to our house for showers, pizza, homemade cookies and ice cream and a movie; Goal 2. Good movie recommend it but must watch Goal 1 first.
We are so blessed to have such wonderful friends in our lives.

We had a great time with you 3! Sorry for your unfortunate parking experience. We'll have to find another beach that's not so crowded next time. Thanks for having us over too...your back yard looks wonderful these days and it was very fun playing with the girls back there.

Hey, when we were in Cali, Joe went into the pool at the Ritz with his cell, so he didn't have Brandon's cell, and we were not able to get online...we were sad. He tried to call a few days later when his phone dried out....
So sad we didn't see you guys...maybe soon ;(
