Vacation

Brandon, Bailey, and I returned late Saturday night from Boston. We traveled around New England for 8 days and had a blast! It was our first family vacation and it was a great success. Brandon and I feel more confident as parents and the 3 of us spending 8 exclusive days together was wonderful.

We flew into Boston and spent 3 days there. We loved Boston and all its history. We conquered the Freedom Trail, the Union Oyster House (first restaurant in America), Harvard, and many other neat streets and places. This is us at the Union Oyster House eating fresh Lobster. After Boston we drove to Niagra Falls in Canada. We had an awesome view of the falls from our room and they were so amazing to see. We did a boat ride (Maid of the Mist) that takes you to the center of Horseshoes falls and we got soaking wet - Bailey loved it. We thought she would be scared but she was laughing and flapping her arms the whole time.

View from our room.

We attended a magic show in Niagara Falls. It was Greg Frewin and he was pretty good-a bit cheezy, but good.
After Niagara Falls we stayed a night in a B&B in Hyde Park on the Hudson River. We saw FDR's home, the Vanderbilt Mansion and ate at the CIA (Culinary Institute of America). Really neat and beautiful place.

Bailey hanging out with Frank and Eleanor.

We then drove through Hartford Connecticut and made a stop at Mark Twain's house. Very interesting Gothic styled home.
That is a very broad version of our trip. We had a lot of great adventures and good laughs. Here are some cute pictures of Bailey from the trip to finish of the blog.

Great pics, especially the last one of B and B with bed heads.
Very impressive how you rocked the East Coast vacation with Bailey at the tender age of 5.5 months. Glad you had a good trip and looking forward to seeing you and hearing more about it.
Did you bring us back a lobstah?
