Baby Niceities

Here Bailey is modeling the "co-sleeper." You can see that she is resting in a bordered bed that protects her from the wild sleeper that may throw an arm over her (Brandon). The co-sleeper goes inbetween Brandon and I and it makes it very easy to care for her and give her some attention if she feels lonely. We give this product 5 stars for it provides a safe way for a family to cuddle in bed.

Here I am modeling the baby "Ergo." This is similar to the baby Bjorn but better because it is made out of cloth and provides more comfort for the baby. It is like unto a back-pack and has pockets in the front for keys, phone, wallet, etc. What's also nice about it is the infant insert it comes with so the ergo can be used for an infant like Bailey. The tan padded fabric you see Bailey sleeping in wraps around her like a taco and you lay her in side ways so it is like laying in someone's arms. We had a very nice walk this morning with aunt Jenni, Uncle T-snake and the boys (Frani and Murphy). I would also give this item 5 stars because it can be used from a newborn age till a toddler age and is very comfortable for you and the baby.

Easter

Bailey is posing in her Easter Pj's. This picture cracks us up.

Brandon and I took Bailey and Frani to the park but Frani seemed to get the most enjoyment out of it.

We got lucky enough to catch one of Bailey's quick little smiles. Grandpa was tickeling her ear and she kept smiling- she is so adorable!

We had our first trip to Grandpa and Grandma Bair's house for a good Easter dinner.

One Week Old

Yesterday we took our first family walk. Bailey slept through the whole thing until we were back in the drive way; she looked a bit confused. It was nice to get some fresh air after being inside for nearly six days.

Today Bailey is one week old. She was given her first bath which she obviously did not like.

But once all wrapped up she was as sweet as ever.

After seven days Bailey doesn't cry any more when we change her diaper or clothes, she makes more facial expressions, slips in little inadvertent smiles, and stays awake examining her world for longer periods of time. Thus far, she has the sweetest little disposition.

March 15, 2008

I woke at 5:07am on Saturday with my first contraction. I woke up Brandon at 6:30 and we had a nice walk and protein filled breakfast. This is me taking my contraction "splits." We packed for the hospital and left in the early afternoon because my contractions rapidly increased and surprised the both of us. I got to the hospital and 3 1/2 hours later little Bailey Bair Bridgman was born.






Bailey weighed 7.1 pounds and was 20 1/4 inches. She was born at 4:27 pm, healthy and perfect! Brandon and I have been enjoying every moment of being her parents and love her more every hour that goes by.








Our family and friends have been wonderful and extremely helpful. Brandon and I are very appreciative to everyone for their kind messages, emails, calls, etc. We look forward to everyone meeting her!

St. Patricks Day

Puppy Love

It is 4am and I have pregnancy insomnia. Brandon and I are still patiently awaiting the arrival of our little one. We are however beginning to feel like she is never going to come! I had a dream earlier this week that my midwife told me I am not due until April now, and then when April rolled around she kept pushing my due date back- I was pretty panicked in my dream. I know she will come soon but the suspense is getting to me.

Luckily however, my sister (Jenni) got a puppy! This has been very fun for us the past two days and has helped take my mind off of being late. The puppies name is Murphy and he is the same kind of dog Frani is- a toy poodle. Jenni and Tim were nice enough to get a dog that Brandon can breath around so he can still hang out at their house. They are pretty darn cute anyways. Murphy was born on Tim's birthday, January 11.
