Birthday Bash

We celebrated 3 birthdays on Sunday. My mom's birthday is on the 10th and Tim and Murphy share a birthday on the 11th (Murphy is Jenni and Tim's dog). Tim turned the big 30 and we enjoyed a fun Saturday of dinner at Auld Dubliner with friends and dinner with family on Sunday.

The evening was fun with yummy steak filets, carrot cake, and a family game of Apples to Apples which Ryan dominated.

We all pitched in and got Tim a banjo that he has wanted for some time. It was a fun surprise and we got to listen to some blue grass jams.

New Years

New Year's Eve Brandon and I decided to have a date-night at home. Bailey went to bed and we got to cooking. Two years ago, when I was pregnant actually, we bought crab legs, brie, a baguette, and chocolate fondue and enjoyed a fun evening at home. So, we mimicked just that. We steamed and ate 2lbs of crab legs, cranberry goat cheese with a baguette, and we were so full we only shared a small ice cream sandwich for dessert. I only took one picture and I forget to get a "before" dinner picture so everyone gets to see the remains.

Brandon and I watched the "Friends" new years episodes which was a fun reminiscent time for us. While we date we watched all 10 seasons of Friends and had so much fun. Eventually we watched the ball drop and laughed when Dick Clark sadly messed up the count down. I admire him for hanging in there. Brandon and I shared our 6th New Years kiss together, fell asleep on the couch about 15 minuted later and woke up uncomfortable and scrambled to bed.
