More Birthdays

Sunday we celebrated Brandon's mom's birthday (Mammer Lee) and his sister Hollee's birthday. Kenny, Brandon's brother also came and Hollee's boyfriend Tim, and their son Tank.
We enjoyed an evening of pizza and playing the wii. Bailey and Tank were much of the entertainment as well. They are beginning to interact more and are fun to watch play together.

We love you guys!

Birthday Extravaganza

Eric (or E-Money as Brandon would say) celebrated his 30th Birthday on Saturday. He had an all day boy's fest consisting of 10 men and 10 sports; exertion of testosterone and competition. They wore red or blue t-shirts which Natalie had made with "Sports Extravaganza" printed on them. They played for "gold" medals which Natalie also made for the winning team. And yes, Brandon and Eric being on the same team, took home the "gold."

Meanwhile, we girls (Natalie, Emily, Bailey, and I) sat enthusiastically on the sidelines watching. No really, it was fun and entertaining. The girls were very intrigued and sat in the strollers the whole time in the morning.

Natalie and I also did much of the 'behind-the scenes' work. While the girls napped at the house I decorated cup-cakes and she brought the boys lunch. The girls also got to have some quality play time together which was super fun.

They shared Emily's pacifier and played with a plastic cup. They also both enjoyed Bailey's new walking lion toy. I wish I had a picture of the two of them. Thad hey both held the handle and walked around together; it was adorable.

The day ended at their community spa with pizza and cup-cakes. Many of the guys' wives and children showed up too. It was a fun day and evening for us to meet new people and enjoy a plethora of activities. Happy Birthday Eric; we are glad you were born!

11 Months Old

On the 15th Bailey was 11 months old and is beginning to be more of a toddler than a baby. I get a little sad thinking about her growing so fast and how fast the baby days go.
Her first word is officially "Duck." This became official when other people other than Brandon and I understood what she was saying. I hear her babble all day and attempting words so it takes someone else's comprehension for it to feel confirmed. She loves her bath ducky and it is kept in the same place above her changing table so she is always asking for it every time I change her diaper.
Bailey also points and says "that" at everything she wants or finds interesting. It is really cute and she gets to excited to point and express herself.

She is continually getting closer to walking by herself. She walks between furniture very well and is always grabbing our hands to help her walk to where she wants to go. She just needs a bit more courage and balance and she will be off.

Bailey has moved to being a pretty consistent one nap a day baby and I am enjoying the long nap and having a bit more flexibility in our days.

She is an adventurous, independent, joyful, and content little girl. I cannot believe she is going to be a year old soon!

This was taken before Brandon and I went out for our Valentine's date. We went to the Yard House for the first time at Fashion Island. The food was great and we really enjoyed relaxing and spending quality time together. Brandon had Monday off work so we had a long and fun three day weekend together. We enjoyed a lot of rainy family days and were able to have some date time too.

Congrats Michael & Tawnia Bair

Michael and Tawnia were married at the Turnip Rose on Saturday the 14th. They escaped the rain and were blessed with beautiful blue sky's. The ceremony took place outside in the courtyard and the reception followed afterwards inside one of their banquet rooms. Michael and Tawnia wrote their own genuine vows, Tim played the mandolin while Jude played guitar and sang; it was beautiful. Brandon prayed a heartfelt blessing for the dinner and for the new couple during the reception. It was a nice evening celebrating with family and friends. Michael and Tawnia looked so happy and content throughout the day.

Bailey was absolutely perfect the entire day. She really impressed me by being so resilient with all the people and festivities. Bailey was one of three flower girls and was pushed in her little car that was decorated with wedding and valentine's decor. She loved the other little flower girls, so I think she was super excited to be with them. Plus she loves her car and never wants to get out of it. She actually sat in her car most of the ceremony completely content playing with the ignition key. The last few minutes I held her and she came back down the aisle with Brandon and I. It was really fun to all three be in the wedding together.

I wish I had more pictures but I did not take many with my camera. But here is a sneak peak and hopefully we will get the link soon for their professional photos.

I survived the 4 inch heals-barely. Tawnia really brought the "deva" out of Jenni and I as we wore fashionable high heals and fake eye lashes! It was super fun and we are so excited to have a new sister.

Tawnia looked gorgeous.

Bailey looked adorable and Brandon looked very handsome. Brandon and I both got a little teary-eyed watching Bailey come down the aisle.

Bailey got her groove on with Kyle. The dancing was way fun!

Michael and Tawnia are currently relaxing in Mexico enjoying their new life together.

Fun Times

Eric and Natalie had us over for dinner last weekend and it was a great time as usual. I envied Natalie's cooking skills; very yummy homemade chili, and Brandon envied Eric's Dr. Mario skills; Eric always dominates. The girls had a great time and really enjoyed Eric's puppet show with Margaret (?) the monkey.

Birthdays

It was both my parent's birthdays last month and we celebrated them on Friday. Bailey helped Grandpa Bair open his presents and gave Grandma a big birthday hug.

Silly girl.

Tea Time

Last week Natalie and I took Bailey and Emily to tea at the Victorian Manor Tea House and Garden in Old Town Orange.
My mom and sister had one of my baby showers here and I loved the quaint atmosphere and victorian ambiance. I was really excited to return with Natalie and the girls.
We went at a nice time of the day and had the whole place practically to ourselves. The girls were entertained and shared our petite sandwiches with us. Along with our sandwiches they served us scones with jam and cream, fruit, and a cute, but not so tasty pot of tea. Not that they have bad tea, but the flavor we chose was "Jasmine flower" and it definitely tasted like a flower.

We went upstairs and let the girls crawl around one of their many tea rooms and we took pictures of them playing with tea cups and saucers. They are just too cute together.
